How does Click2Call work?

Firstly, to set up Click2Call you will be required to assign a phone number against the user’s profile within the account settings.

When a visitor clicks on the Click2Call button on your website, a ‘Call Request’ form will be presented. Visitors can then enter their ‘Name’, choose which country they are dialling from and enter their phone number; this can be a mobile or land line number. As soon as the visitor attempts to start a call, agents logged into the C4A software will receive an alert based on the routing group they reside in. The visitors that are awaiting connection will appear within the ‘call list’ on the Dashboard. When the operator clicks ‘TAKE’, the system will attempt to call the visitor’s number, if successful the both phone lines are connected and you can start talking like any other call.

Once the call has finished either party can hang-up, and the status of the call will change. We recommend categorizing and storing every call once finished, allowing you to report on them at a later date.

Finally…

Click2Call is an additional tool within the Click4Assistance software to allow visitors the option for a two-way phone call, free from service provider charges.
